Okay, so about a million years ago (okay, three) I had an account at OKCupid. I really only made it for the tests, but I filled out a profile and everything and made a few friends, but I haven't been there since then.
Well, today, I found my old profile there, and all the information was so out of date I really just...bleh. So amazingly, I remembered my password, logged in, and changed it, but I noticed that I had all these new mails...and people were talking to me and of course, since I haven't been there since then, I didn't answer any of them..
I feel so bad! I'm torn on whether I should answer them now, even though I have no intention of ever going back to the site again anyway, and I'm sure most of them haven't logged in for awhile anyway...
But, I do have to wonder why hardly anyone talked to me while I used the site for two years, but the year I'm away...boom! I mean really.
Okay, so I'm comforted by the fact that no one reads this, since I don't really have to apologise for not updating in so long.
I ended up leaving my grandmother's house, and spent all of September and most of October (so far) without the internet. So I haven't been able to post.
I really like this site, but I don't know anyone who uses it and I'm too shy to talk to the others who do, so I'm like, running out of uses for it. But I'm going to stay just a bit longer, because I'm sure I can think of something. If anything, having a place that isn't exactly private, but no one I know reads is always fun.
When was the last time you had to speak in front of a group? How did you feel?
Goodness, it was so long ago, I can't even remember, but I can tell you how I feel because it's always the same.
Firstly, I was nervous as all hell. Probably obsessing over saying the right things and making all my points effectively and making sure I wouldn't have to say "tests", "rests", or any other word that would give away my lisp.
Then, while giving the speech, I could only think about how stupid I looked and I bet I probably imagined all the mean things people were thinking about me...
...I don't like speaking in front of people, does it show?
Okay, so the reason my mother picked me up was because Sarah called and told her to. I wasn't allowed to tell Sarah I knew when I was at her house but I'm out now and I can.
Well, that's the last mention of her in my journal. I'm going about pretending she doesn't exist.
I ended up staying at the Grayson County Shelter...omg that place is Hell on Earth. If anyone happens to be reading this and you're a board member or you know a board member or you donate...come talk to me, 'cause I got dirt to dish.
But, right now I'm staying the night with my mom and a guy she met a few days ago...starting the dangerous life now! *grin*
I'm on my way to my grandmother's and hopefully I'll be able to have internet access there...depends on whether or not my brother will let me use his computer or if I can find a place to set mine up.
]]>"Good News" was the subject of the latest email I got, from my mother, informing me that she will be picking me up soon
To fill anyone who happens to be reading this in, some really bad stuff happened in May, which ended up in my mother, my younger brother, and I all being split up and left all across the state. I stayed with a girl I'd known online for six years, and her parents, my brother stayed with my grandmother, and my mother has been hopping all over the place. I've been eagerly awaiting the day I could get out of here -- this is a great place and my friend's parents are extremely kind (though she leaves much to be desired in that department) but I don't feel comfortable here.
I just need to be back around the people who get me. (There's nothing like living with other people to find out just how much your family really does understand you)

Ha, my first boyfriend...I was like...thirteen, and we met on the internet. His name is Branden and really, I think that whole relationship should have been a great big warning to me about dealing with guys online...but no. It wasn't.
He was nice at the beginning but towards the end of the relationship he was more focused on his real life than his online life...which is totally understandable now, but at thirteen it was like the end of the world for me. I remember him telling me, "My world doesn't revolve around you!" and my response was, "Well, it should!"
After we broke up we ended up becoming really good friends, and he became like a brother to me...now we don't tal anymore, which makes me sad because he was awesome as a friend. I bet he'd make a good boyfriend now that he's older.
Okay, so I got the invitation in my email and though, "Okay, why not?" but I have no freaking idea what I'm doing...but I like this thing anyway. It's very cute.
